What we are offering here is a superb c1990's oil painting by the well known and listed Spainish artist Baron Michael D'Aguilar. 

 

Baron Michael D’Aguilar

This artist was born in 1922 in London of Spanish parentage. He spent much of his early life in Spain. He studied at The Royal Academy Schools from 1949 - 1954 winning a variety of awards, including the Leverhulme Scholarship. He was a winner of the Royal Drawing Society’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and the Armitage and Silver Medal at the Royal Academy.

He had successful one-man shows at the Temple Gallery in 1961, New Grafton Gallery in 1971, Southwell Brown Gallery in 1974, Bruton Street Gallery in 1995 and was represented in Bradford City Art Gallery.

The painting depicts what appears to be Mother and Children on the beach. The painting is title and signed on the back "Les Vacances Au Board De Lar Mer" and is signed bottom right. This painting would look superb once framed. Paintings of a similar size and subject matter are available on other sites in excess of £1500.

 

The painting is in very good condition.
