This folded steel consists of iron + AISI 1045 steel through mixed folding. It has been forged 13 times and creating 8192 layers. This completed folded steel is wrapped with AISI 1060 steel bar's on both sides. Therefore, the blade is a combination of forged folded steel and AISI 1060 steel. This type of tradtional forged methods results in a very sharp, sturdy blade and on the other hand very flexible at the back of the blade. The sword is battle ready and capable of bamboo cutting.
