As per the photos, this is a magnificent Antique Mahogany Georgian Centre Pedestal Games Table!

The mahogany timber is just beautiful and in fabulous condition with only the very lightest scuffs.
As you can see, it has the gorgeous burr mahogany to the base... around the edges of the underside of the table that forms the sides of the space for storing cards, games etc as well as on the pedestal.

The pedestal itself is octagonal in shape and very solid and sturdy.
There are 4 legs extending from the base, all of which have the original castors.

When not in use as a games or small dining table (ie with the table top closed), this makes a beautiful Georgian hall table.
This has rounded edges at the front and square corners at the back - which is where the table is hinged.

The table top then swivels on the base and at 90 degrees (so that the opened top is also supported by the base) you lift the top and fold it back on the hinges.
There has been a small repair to the timber near the hinge on the inside of the table and this is the only point to note on this beautiful piece.

With the table open... 102cm x 106cm x 72.5cm high.
