This is a beautiful Cake/serving plate by Burleigh Ware . Made in England.
It is from their " WILLOW " Series.
This plate shows the classic blue willow oriental inspired scene in a deep blue set on a white background complimented beautifully by a gilded edge. The shaped handles are white.
The piece is a lovely shape and measures 24.5cm across from handle to handle and has a diameter of approximately 22cm.
The plate, including the gilding, is in very good condition and only shows very minimal signs of usage. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and it has a wonderful lustre.
This is a lovely example of Burleigh Ware in one of their classic and traditional patterns that would enhance any fine collection or make the perfect addition to an existing dinner set!
