Beautifully Hand Carved
15" western saddle
Fort Worth - imp USA
LOW starting price
Beautifully hand carved all over saddle with basket weave and acorn pattern and some silver conchos. Have had this saddle for a while now, originally bought it as an every day saddle but ended up showing in it. Good quality leather with little wear at all. Only reason for selling is that this saddle is best suited to a horse with a wither and as my youngsters have grown they have flattened out at the wither. Saddle has 3 different grith options. I had a saddler (L G Matten) attach a stainless steel girth option so that I had choices to girth depending on the horse I was riding.
Saddle is a Fort Worth imported from the states (USA). You can google this saddle to see quality and comparable new price. Is valued at over $1,500 new.
Seat is a soft salmon pink suede and padded. Under fleece is in excellent condition and this has been a well looked after saddle. I believe this has semi qh bars, gullet measures 7" but feel this fits more like a 5-6" gullet. Plenty of length with the stirrups. Seat measures 15" and is a well shaped seat giving you a full 15" seat. This saddle is lighter than my others at approx 14 kg (my others are around 18kgs) and a good quality mid range western saddle that is good enough to show in.
I don't think buyer would be dissappointed with this saddle. Have a low starting bid as this saddle has to go, just can't keep them all!
Saddle is being sold without girth. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Am prepared to post or courier at buyers expense
Due to requests - I will post within Australia (but Australia Post has proven to be the most expensive in the past)- Courier charges to be paid by buyer. Totally weight of Saddle is 15Kgs plus packaging of approx 1 kg. Shipping box will be approx: 78cm W X 44cm H X 44cm D. Apparently E-Go-Com-au frieght couriers can deliver in most major Aust cities between $20-$30 AUD and Couriers please who also do major Aust cities and some major towns will be approx $50.00. I would appreciate it if prospective buyers would investigate the cheapest way to transport by enquiring with a courier as Aust post will be in the vicinity of $80-100 depending on where you are.
New additional picture was taken whilst saddle was on the back of a chair, so front looks a little low but is not when on the horse.
