"Magistrate's House and White Horse Inn, Berrima",  by Cedric Emanual. 

"Cedric Raymond Emanuel was born on 1st July, 1906 in Gisborne, New Zealand. He arrived in Australia in 1908. He studied under Dattilo Rubbo, Royal Art Society and, at the Julian Ashton Art School under William Dobell. In 1920, he started work at the State Art Studio, Royal Arcade, Sydney. In 1925, he begins work as a commercial artist whilst studying the art of etching with Sydney Long. However, for most of his life, he worked as a freelance artist.

He became Australia's best known pen and pencil sketcher, having illustrated more than fifty sketchbooks. He has painted numerous portraits of early and historical buildings and towns. A majority of the Sydney houses, which he has drawn, have since been demolished. Through his art, he is thought of as an historian. He died, in Sydney, on 1st March, 1995, aged 88 years."

This print has lovely clear detail of the pencil work.  Signed by the artist in the left bottom corner.  Framed behind glass in a brown wooden frame with card backing and wire for hanging.  The frame is 33.5 x 27.25cm, In Good condition.
