Up for sale is this 10 piece (including lid) child's tea set from Beswick decorated with various Disney characters, the set dated to the late 1940's. 

The set can be seen in Lorraine Punchards Playtime Pottery & Porcelain( UK & US) reference book on page 108.

The set comprises 2 cups, 2 saucers, 2 teaplates, teapot with lid , sugar bowl and creamer.

The condition of the pieces are detailed below.

Saucers (2) In excellent condition, no cracks, chips or stains, 4 1/2" in diameter.

Cups (2)   Both are in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or stains. They both measure 1 7/8" in diameter across the rim and 1 7/8" high.

Teapot with lid. The teapot and lid are in excellent condition. 4" high (to the top of the finial) and 6 1/2" from the back of the handle to the spout. 

Sugar bowl.  The sugar bowl is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. 1 1/2" high and 2 1/2" in diameter across the rim.

Creamer (1) Excellent condition, no chips, cracks stains or crazing. 2" high and 2 1/2" from the back of the handle to the spout.

There is no wear to the gilt trim on any of the pieces and very minor crazing only.
