This is a rear bicycle rack which mounts to the seat post with an attached hinged quick release clamp.  The rack is suspended over the rear tire after installation.  Clearance from the tire is dependant upon the height from which it is mounted to the post.  This is a strong and durable product.  This rack is great for supporting a typical bicycle bag or other packages.  The maximum load that the rack can support is 10 kg / 22 lb.  There is a one inch opening on each side of the rack surface to accommodate straps for fastening.  The front of the rack is angled so that the load does not contact the rider's back.  The dimensions of the rack are 12 x 5-1/4 x 3/8.  The overall dimensions, including the support rod are 18 x 5-1/4 x 2.  The weight is 1 lb, and it is made of aluminum.  This item has been used, and is in very good condition.  There is wear present inside of the hinged clamp where there was contact with the seat post.  The color is flat black.  The manufacturer is unknown.  Good luck, and please e-mail me if you have any questions.
