Bing & Grondahl - Mother's Day Plate - 1973

From the famous Danish porcelain maker, Bing and Grondahl, this design was created by Henry Thelander to honour Mothers on their special day - Mor's Dag.

A classic Blue & White Wall Plate depicting a Mother Duck and her duckings.

A perfect gift and opportunity to commemorate a child’s birth.
 
It is 15 cm in diameter and fully backstamped.  It has small holes to attach a ribbon or cord to hang it from, these plates look stunning hung on blue velvet ribbon with a bow at the top.
 
Excellent condition no faults, chips, crazing or cracks.
 
A lasting and thoughtful gift that would be treasured by any Mother or collector.
