Blue Apatite Sterling swirl pendant

Neon Blue Apatite sterling wire wrapped pendant.

I love to make swirly wire wrapped pendants with gemstone beads, and these are beautiful blue apatite. They have a lovely translucent quality and remind me a bit of Kyanite.

The beads are threaded on and surrounded by swirls of straight and coiled sterling silver wire, lots of it, plus a few odd sterling beads and a beadcap that is pretty. This pendant has a nice balance and can be worn from either side - and is totally unique.

It measures 35mm x 25mm.

APATITE - Comes in a variety of colors ranging from yellow to green, white, pink, blue or purple. Is said to dissolve aloofness and negativity, and is useful in all intellectual pursuits. Apatite fosters peace and harmony through communication and communion with our higher self.


 

Wire Wrapping:

My pendants are totally handmade, gemstones and crystals made into unique pendants by the use of sterling silver or 14k gold filled wire only. Sometimes many, many yards of it! No glues, no fixatives, just the tension of the wire holding it together. The description of gemstones that most appeals to me is that they are "part of the earth's DNA". Even if you feel they don't have any special metaphysical properties, I am sure you will agree with me that they have an enduring quality and beauty. All my jewellery is one of a kind, created in the inspiration of the moment and made with care. I use quality materials and aim to produce beautiful, affordable items. Each one is unique, as even if I try and repeat a design, it's never quite the same, especially with gemstones!

Shipping

Posted in a secure padded bag, and I will fit in as many items as possible before adding additional postage. Registered post is required for items over $50 and is free for purchases over $75.00
