The High-Tech Powerball made the cover of Time magazine as one of their top 10 digital devices of the year. It features a balanced rotor and removable top cap, which allow insertion of the optional digital speed meter. The Powerball generates 40lbs of torque with speeds up to 18,000 RPM.

Well what exactly is a Powerball Gyro? Powerball is an incredibly unique training device which can be used in many sports and activities -anything at all involving the use of wrists arms shoulders and fingers. The Powerball is a little larger than a tennis ball, but spin that gyroscope up to 16,000 RPM and it is generating an incredible 40lbs of torque subjecting your whole arm to a completely dynamic workout. The Powerball feature extremley high build quality and is equivalent or higher than any other Gyro ball on the market. Be warned that this is an extremely addictive activity.

How does it works? The inner rotor (gyroscope) is set in motion using the starter cord provided. It can also be started with the flick of your hand or by purchasing a battery operated started (Docking Station). Spinning it slowley at about 2,500 Revs Per Minute, you will feel the gyroscopic forces in action. As you make rotational movements with their wrist, keeping in synch with the spinning speed of the ball, the speed of the rotor increases. The faster you spin, the more demanding it becomes and more the internal blue LED's light up, until it is glowing in your hand. This finely balanced gyroscope will spin at speeds in excess of 15,000 RPM, although most struggle to get it over 13,000 and the World Record High Score is over 16,000 RPM.
