Blue White Stoneware Oriental Piano Babies Figurines

Here is a very unique pair of blue and white decorated baby figurines. I can't seem to find anything like them on the internet. My best guess is they are some type of piano baby figurines. They are oriental, not sure which culture, I am thinking Japanese, and appears to be one girl and one boy. the have open nostrils and mouths and there are airholes in the ears. They are fairly heavy and made from a type of white earthernware or stoneware and have blue decoration under the glaze. They measure about 9" long and about 5 3/4"-6" tall. There is all over very light crazing, but no other nicks, chips or cracks. They have no maker's or any other types of identification marks. A very unique pair for one's decor.
