I absolutely love Cedars, they are probably my favourite evergreen species for bonsai. They love the heat, don't mind the cold, several species of Cedar originate from some of the most inhospitable climates and terrain this earth has to offer. Fairly slow growing and relatively easy to care for, Atlas Cedar is a suitable species for bonsai beginners, while having plenty to offer the seasoned enthusiast. Coming from the Pine family, Pinaceae, Cedars are usually seen in upright styles, but are a wonderfully elegant choice for Cascade and Semi-Cascades.
This is a very well proportioned bonsai that has been creatively styled and would be a worthwhile addition to any collection.
