 native to Japan and seen in the good bonsai collections and publications the world over this must have bonsai and maple variety is gorgeous with awesome reds and oranges in autumn this is one of my favourites,a excellent gnarly barky trunk wired and trained branching awesome nebari (exposed roots)small to scale size foliage lush moss and rock covering standing 38cm high in a high quality blue glazed japanese pot 28cm x 20cm(pot alone retails $25) pics do not do it justice would look great in any collection looks great from every angle and looks spectacular now with new spring growth complete with care sheet, and e-mail me anytime for any bonsai info, happy bidding happy bonsai.
