My QC3’s have given great service and I am now upgrading. If you travel a lot on noisy trains or buses, or fly regularly, these headphones will definitely make your trips a lot more enjoyable. These are the “on the ear” smaller headphones rather than the “over the ear” larger QC2’s. They are smaller and a bit cooler when wearing them on buses and trains, no-one cares on planes J

The sound quality is great; the noise cancellation deals with most of the background drone. They are still regarded as one of the best noise cancelling headphones on the market. There are the usual scratches and scrapes from regular use between Sydney and Perth. The sound quality and noise cancelling is not affected by the cosmetics. I have fitted NEW earphone pads as I had a spare pair.
