ITEM FOR SALE: Bringing Up Father #3, Very Good-Fine Condition. These were great collections of newspaper comic strips by George McManus, the series running from 1913 to 2000. Here is the second issue, very nice looking, flat, clean, but with a little spine and corner wear. Still fantastic looking for a Platinum-Era book (1897-1937), and rarely comes up due to the age. Great long-term collectible to have. The series also went by the name "Maggie and Jiggs" due to the main characters. Quite funny books

SELLER COMMITMENT TO BUYERS: My intent is for repeat business, and not a one-time transaction engagement. This means I will answer questions twice-daily, pack securely for safe delivery, and include mandatory Delivery Confirmation with all USA packages for the protection of both parties to validate arrival.

WHAT I ASK OF BUYERS: Please ask all questions ahead of time to assist in a successful transaction. I will do my best to clarify any items necessary, within reason.

PAYMENTS ACCEPTED: PayPal is my preferred method of payment for rapid shipment processing. Please pay within 3 days of winning a final lot. With money order, please just let me know ahead of time so I can account for delayed payment.

END-OF-AUCTION TRANSACTION PROCESS:

1. With single purchases, I setup the auctions so you can self checkout.
2. With multiple purchases, please let me know when you are done and I can send a consolidated invoice.

SHIPPING POLICY:

1. I use USPS Media Mail for raw books, Parcel Post for encased books. I can utilize other methods which may result in higher costs at buyer request.
2. Shipping costs will start at the initial charge of the first lot won; $1 additional for each single raw book, $2 for any multi-raw book lot, $2 for each additional CGC-PGX book.
3. All lots will be securely packaged in a box for safe delivery, using packing peanuts and/or bubble wrap. Part of the shipping charge factors in the costs of the box and packing material, when appropriate.
4. Like-items will be packed together so as to ensure maximum protection (e.g. action figures with action figures).
5. Packages will be sent out twice weekly, and Delivery Confirmation numbers will be emailed to USA buyers once shipped.
6. I do not ship to P.O. boxes or unconfirmed PayPal addresses.
7. With international shipping, please be aware there is the possibility of unforeseen charges (duty, taxes, and brokerage service charges). These are outside the realm of what I charged for basic shipping costs.
8. It is the buyer’s option to select insurance, as the seller will not be held liable for any loss or damage once lots are shipped. Please seriously consider insurance as a small fee can bring comfort that you will not take a loss.

CONSOLIDATED SHIPPING POLICY: I encourage multiple purchases from the same buyer as it benefits us both. Please just let me know ahead of time when lots will be outside the same day you won the first item. It is appreciated.

REFUND POLICY: Since collectibles can be challenging coming to terms on a common condition standard, it is essential you ask questions ahead of time as refunds WILL NOT be allowed. This is not meant to be difficult, but more to encourage pre-sales communications. It also avoids situations where I have to work through identifying if the book I sent is the book being returned.
