British W. Africa Half Cent 1934 (KM-8)

 This auction is for a copper-nickle 1934 half cent from British West Africa (now Nigeria); wearwise, it appears to be about in XF condition, but there is a little dirt present; it might benefit from a careful clean - see image.

During the next several months, I will be disposing of a foreign coin/currency collection that I began accumulating more than 50 years ago; there will a smattering of US material as well. To the best of my knowledge, all items offered are genuine; if I become aware of any exception or doubts, these will be clearly noted.

If you win an auction, please do not submit payment until you receive an invoice, as postage/handling fees may vary depending on the final selling price and shipping destination. For items selling for less than US$10.00, the fee will be US$2.00 for the US and Canada; US$3.00 for the UK/Western Europe. The fee for items selling from US$10.00 to US$200.00 will vary from US$2.50 to US$4.50 for the US, with a flat rate of $12.95 for the Canada/UK/Western Europe. For items selling for more than US$200.00, the fee will be US$6.00 for the US and Canada; US$16.95 for the UK/Western Europe. Multiple purchases from auctions that close within a 72-hour period may be combined for reduced postage (unless otherwise specified, please add US$.50 per additional auction item);  please contact me before paying if I do not provide a combined invoice in such an instance. Payment is requested within three days of invoice receipt; non-payers will be reported to eBay after 10 days.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: All purchases exceeding US$10.00 will be sent either by Registered Mail (usually limited to items selling for less than US$45.00) or Priority Mail International; both are quite expensive, see fees stated in the preceding paragraph.

I will ship without question to North America, western Europe, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand. As a general rule, I will not ship to Africa, Central America, China, the Middle East, Russia, or other countries formerly part of the Soviet Union; bidders from other countries please contact me before bidding. Returns accepted only if the item received differs substantially from the auction description, and return is within seven days of receipt; return postage is responsibility of buyer. In all cases, the item(s) received will be the item(s) in the auction photograph; in some instances it may be in a different holder, if the original one is too badly damaged.
