This elegant French bronze statue of Napoleon was created C. 1830. Along with a bronze laurel, the figure is mounted to a sleek reddish marble. Turned bronze fittings indicative of early 19th century. Napoleon stands with arms crossed, and is well sculpted with detail to features and clothing. The statue makes an elegant desk piece.
