Coconut Shell-Based Activated Carbon. Use this activated carbon to embed BRONZclay™ pieces for firing. The Coconut shell–based carbon available in Australia produces a richly colourful patina. To prepare the carbon for use, place it inside the container, cover with the lid and fire for 30 minutes at 840°C. Cool Repeat this process twice before using the activated carbon to fire your BRONZclay™. Please Note: Use a stainless steel firing pan with lid (available separately) to hold both activated carbon and pieces to be fired.
