"OM" Symbol on Papyrus Paper

The most sacred symbol for both Hindus and Buddhists, "OM" is composed of three Sanskrit letters and represents everything in the cosmos that is manifest ("Saguna") and hidden("Nirguna") "OM" is universal and, although it is impossible to define, it remains a symbol that represents everything that exists.

I have painted the "OM" symbol in gold leaf pen on my own handmade papyrus paper.

The paper is special. It is handmade by myself from papyrus fibre grown in my garden. It is not recycled paper and is made using ancient techniques (western)to beat the pulp and form the sheets.

The prints are treated with a preservation spray and are unframed but look very nice mounted as shown.

Size is 18 x 26cm

Maybe I can spread a little calm in a crazy world as well as providing a beautiful picture for your wall.
