Burleigh Ware Satsuma Lidded Tureen c1930

This tureen is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks on the base, a small 1/2 cm stain on the inside edge of the tureen lid which I am assuming to be a very short tight hairline, though it doesnt show on the top, only slight wear to the gilding. The backstamp is the Burleigh Beehive, the foliage surrounding the beehive dates this tureen to circa 1930, the tureen is in excellent conditon considering it is nearly 80 years old.

The tureen measures 25cm from handle to handle and is 5.5cm deep excluding the lid.

I try to describe every little detail on the items I sell, there is nothing worse than receiving an item, only to find it is not as described. I am very particular with the details in my listings, but mistakes do sometimes occur.  If this should happen, it is not intentional, and can be resolved with an email.
