Burny Les Paul Custom 1996 MIJ in EC

This guitar is extremely clean and has only one ding that I can see which is visible in the photos.

There's a little fret ware on the first five frets where I've mainly used it to record rhythm parts. Nothing major though.

There's some piting on the chrome bridge and tailpiece.

All electronics are working perfectly.

The guitar features a

Mahogany body, dark rosewood fingerboard with fret edge binding.

Beautiful cherry sunburst flame top.

Bridge pickup is a Dimarzio DP-100 Super Distortion.

Other 2 pickups are stock Burny type.

Switchcraft pickup selector.

Dunlop strap locks.

Weight is about 8.75 pounds.

Rounded C type neck. Not a baseball bat though.

Gibson hardshell case. There is a tear in the vinyl on the outside of the case. It's purely cosmetic otherwise it's in excellent condition too. 

From what I can tell this guitar is a replica of Ace Frehley's first 3 pickup Cherry Sunburst Les Paul Custom he used on Kiss's first tour of Japan.

I've recieved a lot of questions about this guitar and wanted to add some things.

The guitar has no serial number anywhere that I can see.

It does not state that it is made in Japan anywhere either. But from what I know of Burny guitars is that the inlay on the headstock is what indicates the guitars origin. I may be wrong. I am not a Burny "Expert".

This guitar does not appear to be an Ace Freahley model from the factory. It has been modified to be an Ace Frehley model. The pickguard has been modified to accomodate the third pick up. Hardly noticable but it should be pointed out.

I've removed the neck pick up and it is a VH-1.

The guitar has a short tenon neck joint.

All the imformation I've posted is gathered from what I know of the guitar and the imformation that I was supplied with from the original auction two years ago.
