This is a part of the "Outdoor Kids" series and it covers it all: choosing tents, sleeping bags and backpacks; planning the trip and the menu; cooking camp chow; getting those pesky campfires lit; outfoxing the bugs and the bears; hiking, canoeing, and even the "boring" stuff like safety and first aid. A special camping section lets kids record and remember their family fun in the great outdoors.

This used book is in good condition. It is an ex-library book so there are all the obvious stamps and stickers on the front and back cover and the first and last pages. There is wear on the corners and a bend in the front cover.

It has 88 pages.
