It is an ultra compact and lightweight camera, and while retaining all of the same basic features of its predecessor, the EOS 3000N also incorporates additional functionalities, like a Night scene mode, manual and autofocussing point selection and E-TTL autoflash metering (with EOS-dedicated, external Speedlite).
