SO WILL THIS T69 LINK WITH MY CAR? This T69 only links specifically with OBD11 (OBD2) systems. OBD11 is the current diagnostic standard throughout the world in all vehicles. (That's OBD two and not OBD eleven) OBD11 should have been installed in all petrol CARS built for the European market from January 1st 2001 and in all diesel CARS built for the European market from January 2004. For OBD11 your vehicle must have a 16 pin diagnostic socket like the one shown below but just having the socket doesn't guarantee it is OBD11.
This tool is for the engine system in cars and not for commercial vehicles or service resets, airbags, abs, or any system outside of the engine
· IMPORTANT NOTICE Whilst the majority of people are fair & honest, an increasing number of unscrupulous people are ordering tools, fixing their car and their friend’s cars and then calling me to claim the tools don’t work and they want some money back. In some cases tools are then returned with a demand for a refund including all postage and an element of blackmail is increasingly inferred concerning feedback. This deviousness by some buyers is becoming an increasing problem I don’t claim to know everything but as the biggest importer of these tools, I have sold enough of them to know in most cases what vehicles they are compatible with but I am no longer prepared to give any guarantee that any tools will work with any car. As usual, a minority spoil it for the majority.
You buy on condition and in the knowledge that the tool may not link with a car, whether OBD2 or not. You can still return the tool within the period allowed but it is also a condition of sale that postage costs will not be refunded.
