all you need is a sharp pair of scissors and a quality bond adhesive glue, cut fabric to size, bond and smooth over panels the the pliable carbon fabric self molds to the panels which is why this mod is so easy!

Can I clearcoat this?

You can but what's the point? The breathing capability of the material will be lost. It's got acrylic protection to make it stain resistant! If you want the glossy effect, this is not what you're looking for.
