Jill Cowper (Judy Morris) is the wife of a University doctor (Robert Coleby). One morning there is an unexpected knock at the door and she opens it to reveal a man who says he’s the plumber. So begins five days of mental torment that will change her life.
To Jill’s disbelief, the simple plumbing job turns into a major overhaul, and in no time the slightly unbalanced tradesman (Ivar Kants) has torn up her entire bathroom, and her sense of security as well. Worse, he seems to be playing psychological intimidation and domination games with her.
