This is a very interesting hand painted miniature painting of a French romance scene .It has very nice detail with vivid colours.We have safely disassembled the painting to verify our description and this is painted on a thin celluloid woodgrain card which is very unusual.See extra photos.The painting is signed to the right side ''A Bunle'' or similar .The glass front is a convex shape .The Brass filligree frame is very ornate with a 2 level setting with lush red velvet to the back.We estimate the miniature to be about 40-50 years old.Measures 21cm x 14.5cm or 8 1/3'' x 5 3/4'' .
