The AXIS CH6D-b is a black high performance, colinear fibreglass antenna.  It has a spring base from which the whip can be removed.  The antenna is ideal for highway communications and all off-road use. It is available in white or black (see CH6D-W for white, CH6D-B for black). This listing for a black antenna.

Little Known Fact:-
The not only can the antenna whip be removed, but you can fit a smaller antenna that uses the SO239 base, so you can fit a AE409L (70cm long) or a AE4013 (35cm long).  Perfect for when your not off the beaten track, and are stuck in the urban jungle.Ask us for pricing and details.
