CFL-261S flute is excellent value for money – offering
the flute player an instrument packed with features usually
found on far more expensive models. It is a generic model
of the Yamaha YFL-574 – the benchmark for open hole
flutes. This instrument is, of course, brand new.
The high grade components used in the construction
of this flute ensures it has an excellent tone and look. Silver-plated
flutes give a softer, fuller tone when played.
This is an open-hole designed flute that plays
in the key of C. It is equipped with offset-G keys and split-E
mechanism (for easier fingering) meaning the flute is perfect
for students as well as intermediate players. It is highly
responsive and plays with a solid tone, accurate intonation
and produces a crisp clear sound. This makes it especially
recommended for the student flutist.
Also included are silicone plugs to convert the
flute back to a closed hole model. These plugs enable the
player to become used to playing an open hole flute by working
in stages and changing it as necessary.
