For auction is this vintage Coalport small jug suitable for sauce, mayonaise, cream, or milk. Please use the photo as part of the description. The jug is in good condition; the dark brown & gilt trims are all intact and unworn; there are no cracks, chips, repairs, wear, fading or stains. There is fine light crazing all over which is barely visible. The unusual stylised design of flora & geometric shapes looks unworn and unfaded; it continues right around the jug. It measures 9cm high to the lip and 7.5cm X 5.5cm across the top not including the handle with a slightly rounded body. A beautiful item for collectors and lovers of something different. Base is marked: Made in England; Crown motif; Coalport; AD 1756; 36.
Sale is due to down sizing collection. I am not a trader or business. I accept cash on pickup.
I do not post on Tuesdays or Fridays; please keep this in mind when waiting for deliveries.
All my items are given a thorough warm, soapy wash and warm rinse so that (a) you receive clean china and (b) I can thoroughly check the condition of each piece. I try to reveal all faults as I see them and to report the condition of each piece as accurately as possible. Unfortunately, I am human and my eyesight is not what it used to be. If you find a defect I have missed, please contact me when parcel arrives and I will endeavour to make amends. Please keep comments friendly; sellers are people too. I do not accept responsibility for breakages in transit. I have a finite number of pieces so this is a temporary hobby for me.
I charge a small handling fee to cover packaging costs. Save on P & H by combining purchases.
