COLD WAR GERMANY CANADA BLACK WATCH SHOOTING CLUB BADGE

Here is a neat little item, a Cold War era badge from Germany. Many thousands of Canadian soldiers were stationed at Baden, Solingen and Lahr during the 60's and 70's. Some took part in extra curricular shooting competitions through clubs called Schutzen Vereins. The Royal Highland Regiment of Canada, 2 Batallion formed one such club and this is their enamelled club pin. It is 17mm wide and has a brooch fastener on the back.
