The MAX500 is compact in size taking up just one 19 inch rack unit (can also be run free standing) but big on performance, delivering 90 watts rms per channel into 8 ohms, and 120 watts rms per channel into 4 ohms, effortlessly. They‘re a very quiet and ‘musical‘ sounding amplifier. 

Unique linear circuits deliver reliable performance and high thermal capacity. The high current power supply design of the MAX500 uses a robust toroidal transformer which eliminates the hum and lackluster performance that is often found in less discriminating and cost-conscious products. This, together with Phonic's traditional attention to design and quality of construction, allows the MAX amplifier range to pass, with ease, the most stringent performance standards, so ensuring confidence wherever they are fitted.
