ABOUT A YEAR AGO CORGI DECIDED TO RE-RELEASE THE "GREAT BOOK OF CORGI" - THE IDEA WAS TO INCLUDE A DIECAST MODEL WITH THE FIRST 1,000 COIPIES SOLD. trHE DIECAST MODEL WAS THE NO. 200 FORD CONSUL - THE VERY FIRST DIECAST MODEL CORGI EVER MADE BACK IN 1956.

AS THE ORIGINAL TOOLING WAS STILL HELD BY CORGI, THE 1,000 MODELS WERE MANUFACTURED - BUT - CORGI DECIDED TO NOT RELEASE THE BOOK.

SO HERE IS ONE OF THOSE MODELS - ONLY 1,000 PIECES EVER MADE. BRAND NEW IN AN UN-OPENED BOX. INCREDIBLY THIS MODEL IS RARER THAN THE ORIGINAL!

BOUND TO ROCKET IN VALUE OVER THE YEARS.
