• Using up to 40 colours of DMC thread. 

Remember the smaller the stitch and more colours give better detail. Backstitch is not used as the fine stitch gives the detail.

If you prefer a different brand of cotton let me know.You have a choice of 35 thread types and brands so let me know if you prefer other than DMC thread. I recommend you use your favorite brand of cloth.

On completion of the conversion I will mail your chart complete with a simulated picture of your cross stitch as it would appear as a finished cross stitch.

If you need more information ask the seller a question.

Use only clear sharp pictures with a plain background, Any image you plan to use should be saved at approximately 300-dpi or better at 100% output size for the very best printing results, this will improve the quality of your photo which will directly reflect the quality of the finished design.

Conversions can be done from photos, slides or transparencies, or email a jpeg file as an attachment. However we can not accept responsibility for photos lost or damaged in the mail, If you chose to mail a photo to me then I would advise using a copy, NOT the original, as accidents can and do happened. So the safest way is to email the picture to me.

Colour or black & white photographs

Not too busy or cluttered, bold colours & plain background.

I can remove background and/or merge photographs.

Good contrast, plenty of light and dark areas

Remember some of the colours you will be using may not be evident in the photo. This is because you are painting with thread, thus giving the illusion of a painting when finished.

Charts for needlepoint, rug hooking, beading and knitting are also available.
