Your cross-stitch chart will be

·       Designed on 18 count White Aida,

·       Finished size approximately 10inch x 12inch

·       Using 40 colours of DMC thread. 

Your kit will include

• sufficient DMC stranded floss to complete your chart

• easy to read black and white chart printed on quality A4 paper
  

• a coloured picture simulating the finished cross stitch

Backstitch is not used as the fine stitch gives the detail.

On completion of the conversion I will email a picture simulating the finished chart for your approval, if you are happy with the results your chart will be posted on the next business day.

FOR BEST RESULTS

Use only clear sharp pictures with a plain background, Any image you plan to use should be saved at approximately 200-dpi or better at 100% output size for the very best printing results, this will improve the quality of your photo which will directly reflect the quality of the finished design.

Conversions can be done from photos, slides or transparencies, or email a jpeg file as an attachment. However we can not accept responsibility for photos lost or damaged in the mail, so the safest way is to email the picture to me.

Colour or black & white photographs

Not too busy or cluttered, bold colours & plain background.

I can remove background and/or merge photographs.

Your photo needs good contrast with plenty of light and dark areas

Remember some of the colours you will be using may not be evident in the photo. This is because you are painting with thread, thus giving the illusion of a painting when finished.

These charts can also be used for needlepoint, rug hooking, beading and knitting or any grid based craft.
