  • This is a Cox 049 engine with a cast block.  Cox discountinued using this model in their "Sure Starts" after limited sales.
  • According to Cox Technical Support, this engine is more powerful that the standard .049 because of the improved cooling with the utilization of the thinner cast housing and the use of cooling fins.
