The name KOKESHI means
"Small Wooden Doll". The original Japanese KOKESHI dolls were handcrafted tokens of love & friendship for over two centuries. The dolls were often given as gifts to newborn babies to represent good wishes for a healthy child. Today the "Creative Kokeshi" dolls are believed to bring luck & good fortune to friends & loved ones. They are also the inspiration for the "Kimmidoll" collection. This cute wooden doll is approx. 5cm high and 2.2cm wide. It is joined to a Tibetan Silver bail and threaded on a 3mm wide Silver snake chain with a parrot clasp which allows beads to be added or removed. You will get exactly what you see in the picture.
