1ST EDITION 1939 PETER DAVIES, LONDON

This is a hardcover book of 262 pages including photographs. The writer was a famous yacht designer and builder. In this book he tells stories from his apprenticeship and learning years through to his yacht racing experiences and the winning of major races. The book is in reasonably good condition, no dust-jacket, light wear and mild colour fading to the cover, there are a few pale age marks on a few pages only and not serious, generally clean pages and the binding is tight. On the front endpaper is an inscription and first-name signature written by the writer which reads: To H H Gould with best wishes from Uffa.
