These knobs feel great and have a solid brass base and a solid glass top.

The glass has been facetted at the back also, giving the appearance of a "star" effect when you look straight into the knob. ( If you look at the photos of some others available you will see a very visable and un-atractive white 'post' protruding into the glass from the base)

It all makes for a very beautiful hand-crafted effect that will enhance any piece of furniture or cabinet you add it to.
