Tactical Edge Solutions recently acquired some fine blade blanks from the Camillus factory in New York due to its closure last year. These blade blanks are not normally available to the public, as they were intended to be finished in the factory.

However, now that Camillus has closed, discerning craftsmen have the unusual opportunity to obtain first-rate, American-made blade blanks and customize them into unique, collectible knives of the highest calibre.

Needless to say, these blanks will be available only for a short time, since there are no more being made. We are selling stock that happened to be in the factory when the doors were closed; when they're gone, they're gone for good.

This item is a Camillus (manufactured for Cold Steel) kukri knife blade blank which is ground to profile but unsharpened. It is approx. 17" overall with a blade length of approx. 12". Just over .125" across the spine. Full tang. We are using one set of photos for multiple auctions. However, this description will be fair and accurate for all auctions. Your blade will most likely have the tang stamp ground off, and possibly some other small areas with inconsistent grinding. None of this grinding has compromised the integrity of the blade, and with additional surface grinding the whole thing will be good as new. Most of these blanks show a partial or complete stamp of the Cold Steel kukri logo somewhere on the blade, as seen in the photo above. Camillus was forging these for the very expensive Cold Steel kukri product line.

Your blade may have slightly more or less surface impurity than shown in the photos, but you will be happy or you will get your money back.

At Tactical Edge Solutions we only sell high-end knives and blanks that we personally understand and believe in. We do not sell items from inferior manufacturers or any cheap imports or clones.

We have been selling high-end tactical knives on eBay since 2006, and all our customers have been very pleased. Please check our feedback if you like.

FAQ's:
Q. Has this blade been heat treated, tempered, or hardened?
A. The answer is Maybe. All these Camillus blades were taken from the factory in various stages of manufacturing, so it is not possible to know what has been done unless there is visible evidence. The farther along a blade has gone in the process, the more likely it has been heat treated, tempered, or hardened.

Q. Some eBay sellers have sold blades from Pakistan and claimed they were Camillus. Can you guarantee that these are legitimate?
A. Absolutely. Many of them bear a Camillus tang stamp, and we know for certain that the ones without tang stamps are Camillus because we work with reputable suppliers. We unconditionally guarantee that if we say it came from Camillus, it did.

Q. How long will you have this or that blank available?
A. We can't say for sure on any given blank, but in general they are disappearing very quickly.

Q. Is combined shipping available on this item?
A. Yes! We charge full shipping for the highest-shipping-cost item, and $3.00 for each additional item.
