Camillus Cold Steel SRK Blade Blank

Tactical Edge Solutions recently acquired some fine blade blanks from the Camillus factory in New York due to its closure last year. These blade blanks are not normally available to the public, as they were intended to be finished in the factory.

However, now that Camillus has closed, discerning craftsmen have the unusual opportunity to obtain first-rate, American-made blade blanks and customize them into unique, collectible knives of the highest calibre.

Needless to say, these blanks will be available only for a short time, since there are no more being made. We are selling stock that happened to be in the factory when the doors were closed; when they're gone, they're gone for good.

This item is a Cold Steel Carbon V SRK (Search and Rescue Knife) blade blank made in the now-closed Camillus factory. It is ground to profile but unsharpened. It is 10.5" overall with a blade length of 5.5". Full tang. The tang stamp has been ground off but without compromising the integrity of the blade. With surface grinding, it can be restored to perfection.

By looking at all these blades we have in stock, we have been able to determine that the tang stamp read "Cold Steel Carbon V Made in USA SRK".

At Tactical Edge Solutions we only sell high-end knives and blanks that we personally understand and believe in. We do not sell items from inferior manufacturers or any cheap imports or clones.

We have been selling high-end tactical knives on eBay since 2006, and all our customers have been very pleased. Please check our feedback if you like.

4. We will accept returns if the knife is found to be defective in materials and workmanship. You will be responsible for shipping charges to return the knife to us if it is defective.

Q. Has this blade been heat treated, tempered, or hardened?
A. The answer is Maybe. All these Camillus blades were taken from the factory in various stages of manufacturing, so it is not possible to know what has been done unless there is visible evidence. The farther along a blade has gone in the process, the more likely it has been heat treated, tempered, or hardened.

Q. Some eBay sellers have sold blades from Pakistan and claimed they were Camillus. Can you guarantee that these are legitimate?
A. Absolutely. Many of them bear a Camillus tang stamp, and we know for certain that the ones without tang stamps are Camillus because we work with reputable suppliers. We unconditionally guarantee that if we say it came from Camillus, it did.

Q. How long will you have this or that blank available?
A. We can't say for sure on any given blank, but in general they are disappearing very quickly.

Q. Is combined shipping available on this item?
A. Yes! We charge full shipping for the highest-shipping-cost item, and $3.00 for each additional item.
