If you have any of these cameras I recommend buying this lens. You won't be disappointed. 
Images shot with this lens on the XL1s have been confused with those shot on 2/3 inch 3CCD DigiBeta cameras!

This is a reluctant sale, and is a one (1) owner 16x manual lens for Canon's XL series camcorders.
This brilliant lens was the reason that I purchased my XL1s in the first place! Amazing depth of field with smooth action and excellent sharpness.
I am only selling the lens because my work now requires that I shoot on a different camera system.

DETAILS:
Backwardly compatible with the original XL1, the 16x Manual Servo lens replaced the now-discontinued 14x Full Manual lens previously offered by Canon for the XL platform. The 16x Manual Servo’s longer zoom range (versus the 14x), manual focus, switchable servo-zoom, automatic iris and two built-in ND filters and other enhancements promises XL2, XL1S and XL1 shooters a new level of flexibility and image control.

CONDITION:
This lens is in excellent condition and has always been carefully looked after.  The UV filter was put on the lens when it was first purchased so it is clean and free of any scratches or dings.
