The ink are made from premium UV dye and is manufactured to international exporting standards and OEM of many of the higher priced CIS systems sold throughout the world. Many other CIS manufacturers from China make these as a cottage industry. These small piece-meal methods lead to poor quality, low grade ink dyes with high water and heavy solvents which make the ink fade very fast. These solvents are added to make poor quality ink flow and therefore can damage your print heads and ruin your printer. Another common cost saving technique employed by smaller producers is the use of adhesive glue to seal the unit togather. Over time the ink will erode thru the glue causing it to leak. Everest's CISS does not use glue, we employ a  technique which uses a compactor machine to hard press the joints togather. Thus producinga much longer lasting product. The great thing about CISS is “it saves money”. Manufacturers will sell their printer at a discount price and often not making money on it. However, the original replacement inks that we buy can sometimes cost just as much as the printer itself.
