Pick-Up and Purchase

• You are most welcome to collect & pay for your purchase at our Melbourne warehouse located in Somerville.
• The trading hours of our warehouse depend on staff availability and can vary at times. Please call us on 0417 000 921 prior to your visit to confirm opening hours.
  
• Our office accepts payment by Cash, EFTPOS, Visa & MasterCard.

Bank Deposit & Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

• Bank Details : Our bank account details will be supplied during checkout.
• Please leave your name or item number as a reference.
• Please advise us at payments@chevrolet.net.au once your payment has been made.
• Payments will generally take 24 to 48 hours to show in our account at which time your items will usually be despatched within 24 hours.

Visa & MasterCard (Secure Merchant Facility)  

• Our SECURE on-line facility does allow you to make a credit card payment during the check-out process.
• You may also call our office on 0417 000 921 if you'd prefer us to process your payment for you.
• If your call is taken by Voicemail it will generally mean that we are busy with other customers. Please leave your name & contact telephone number & we will return your call ASAP.

Cheque & MoneyOrder

• Personal & Business Cheques are accepted however items will not be available until funds have cleared.
• Australia Post Money Orders are accepted as payment.

PayPal

• We do accept PayPal however it is not our preferred method of payment due to the high merchant fees we incur. These fees are much higher than regular bank charges and ultimately lead to higher prices as sellers seek to recover this cost.
• PayPal is an eBay owned company who charge sellers an additional 2.5% of the total transaction amount for payments received, when added to the eBay listing and final value fees, the eBay company is effectively taking 12% of the total value of the sale. 
• Our PayPal account details will be made available during the checkout process.

Unfortunately postage charges are one of those unavoidable costs associated with on-line shopping and we do understand the need to keep these at a minimum wherever possible. It is easy to overlook the many hidden costs involved with preparing items for shipping, these include the packing materials and staff labour to wrap the item, preparation of a shipping manifest and in some case travel to the post office. These costs must be recovered if we are to continue to provide our customers with great value and a timely delivery service, hence the listing calculators for some items may also include a small handling charge.

Reduced postage charges do apply to multiple purchases.

Past experience has shown that 99% of our customers prefer to pay an extra $ or two for the protection and peace of mind offered by Australia Post's registered service. Hence all of our checkout invoices include Registered Post & insurance. All freight is charged to the customer at cost and our contracted rates enable us to pass on considerable savings.

If you have your own freight account you would like us to use, please advise us of the details prior to making payment.

Warranty

All of our NEW products are covered by a minimum 6 month warranty against manufacture defect. The purchaser is responsible for any freight costs incurred in returning the item to us.  

Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse or abuse by the purchaser.

Damage caused by Star Track Express and Australia Post is covered by the compulsory insurance component of your payment. In the event of loss or damage to your item we will process the claim with the company involved and arrange for the repair or replacement of the item as soon as we have their approval.
