Caravan & Motorhome Presents South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula DVD. Issue # 120. New - Never Viewed. South Australia continues to surprise and amaze us. From our previous runs on the Yorke Peninsula and Murray River, we've found another hidden gem in the Fleurieu Peninsula. On this trip, we do some taste testing in the famous wine region of McLaren Vale, check out the annual almond festival in Willunga, and see some spectacular countryside on the way down the coast to Cape Jervis. On our drive up the eastern side of the peninsula, we stop in at Victor Harbor, a town rich in history and chock-full of fun things to do. Here we found the only horse-drawn tram still in daily operation in the world, which carries visitors across to Granite Island. Continuing north, we pass through Strathalbyn and Mt barker, and stop in at a lovely family-run trout farm. Last but certainly not least, we visit Australia's first German settlement, Hahndorf. It's only a short run around the Fleurieu, but worth every minute. This trip is an RV tourer's delight! Payment is by Paypal or direct deposit only.
