Caravan & Motorhome Presents On Tour Victoria's South East Coast # 126 DVD. Travel: Phillip Island to Wilsons Promontory New - Never Viewed. On this trip we're taking a drive along Victoria's south-east coast all the way to the border and then swinging back on the Princes Highway. This is an easy loop and allows you to see loads of different scenery in one great trip. Loop touring routes are our favourite way to travel. They're easy and get you back to where you came from as quickly or slowly as you want to take it! On this trip you could keep going straight all the way up the New South Wales coast, but we're here for the full Victorian experience. Because there is so much to see and do, we're going to split this trip up into two parts. In Part 1, our first stop is Phillip Island. Although only a small place, there is so much to see and do here including: A Maze n Things, the Koala Conservation Centre, Phillip Island Circuit and, most popular of all, the Penguin Parade. We then learn about the state's coal mining history in Wonthaggi and Korumburra, take a ride on the South Gippsland Tourist Railway, and visit Victoria's famous Wilsons Promontory. We'll finish up the trip in Part 11 a few DVD's down the road. As we take a cruise in Lakes Entrance, visit a beautiful national park and check out the remote town of Mallacoota right on the border, it is sure to be just as spectacular.
