Western Australia's Great South West is one of the most fascinating RV touring destinations in Australia. It's a blend of spectacular scenery, quiet peaceful villages and booming major towns, all underlined with a history that goes back to the very roots of modern Australia.

The journey takes you right around the south west corner of WA, commencing in the boom city of Bunbury and working around the shores of Geographe Bay through to Busselton to Cape Naturaliste. As you can tell from the names, early French navigators had a major influence on this region.

You then head south into the famous Margaret River region. Here you find some of Australia's most famous wines, check out a chocolate factory, and explore some interesting caves, before heading down to Cape Leeuwin and the junction of the Southern and Indian oceans.

Turning east, you enter the fabulous forest country around Pemberton and Walpole, standing in awe amongst the giant karri trees. Here too you find some spectacular coastline around Cape D'Entrecasteaux.

Finally, you visit Denmark and the magical city of Albany. In Albany you become immersed in the history of whaling, enjoy the magnificent historical buildings in the city and explore some of the prettiest coastline in Australia.
