Up for auction is this gorgeous comport/compote from Carlton Ware in their popular Poppy range in the green colourway, the pattern dating from 1948.

The comport stands 2 1/4" high, the bowl measures 5 1/4" in diameter. This is in excellent condition having no chips,cracks or stains and only very, very minor crazing commesurate with its age
