A beautiful serving dish in the Carlton Ware Crocus pattern in the yellow colourway which was first introduced in the late 1930's. It has the number 1747/2 impressed on the base. This is the middle sized serving dish of the three sizes made in this pattern.
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or staining, but has minor crazing which is typical for a piece of this age. There is a small dot in the glaze that would have been done at the time of manufacture. This serving dish displays exceptionally well.
